Jamshedpur: Youth Shot Dead in Burmamines

Police identify suspects in Burmamines murder case, investigation underway.
JAMSHEDPUR – Shubham Kumar Singh, a 25-year-old resident of Kailash Nagar in Burmamines, was shot dead late Tuesday night.
Shubham worked as a computer operator at Dashmesh Transport.
The police have taken possession of the body and sent it to MGM Medical College for post-mortem.
Shubham’s brother, Anil Kumar Singh, has accused Salil Das and his friends of the murder.
Salil Das is the son of Manoj Das, an accused of several criminal cases.
According to reports and victim family accusations, Shubham, Salil, and others were drinking together when an argument broke out between Shubham and Salil.
Intoxicated, they went to Salil’s house where the dispute escalated.
Salil allegedly pulled out a gun and shot Shubham in the head.
The assailants fled the scene immediately.
The police arrived quickly and sent Shubham to MGM Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Forensic Team Seals the Crime Scene
At around 3:40 AM, the police called Shubham’s family to the station.
Anil Singh recounted that Shubham usually returned home by 10 PM after work.
When he didn’t come back by 10:30 PM, the family began searching for him.
His phone was switched off, leading to more frantic searching.
The police later contacted Anil, who identified Shubham’s body at the station before it was sent to the hospital.
City SP and Officers Investigate
On Wednesday morning, City SP Rishav Garg, City DSP Sudhir Kumar, and other officers visited the crime scene.
They sealed the area, conducted videography, and collected evidence.
A forensic team was also called to gather further evidence on the SP’s orders.
