HAZARIBAGH – The Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) is preparing for a significant labor movement to advocate for workers’ rights.

Addressing a meeting at Hazaribagh Town Hall on Sunday, Jharkhand INTUC President Rakeshwar Pandey highlighted the challenges faced by coal and industrial workers in the area.

He assured that these issues would soon be brought to national attention, with plans for a major protest.

Pandey warned coal companies to resolve the problems through dialogue or face a robust movement in favor of the workers.

INTUC leader Meera Tiwari mentioned that the National Labor Congress, established in 1947, has about 3.3 crore members and is recognized not only in India but also internationally.

Former legislator Raj Rajendra Pratap Dev stated that holding the INTUC event in Hazaribagh indicates a strong commitment to fighting for workers’ rights in the region.

The meeting saw participation from several prominent leaders, including State General Secretary Mahendra Mishra and INTUC Treasurer Sanjeev Srivastava from Jamshedpur.
