Sessions Organized For Health Workers And School Teachers Across East Singhbhum

Initiative aims to prepare local healthcare system for rainy season health challenges.

JAMSHEDPUR – The East Singhbhum district health department has begun preparations to combat monsoon-related diseases by organizing training sessions for health workers and educators.

Dr. Mitra, District Malaria Officer, has issued directives to the District Nodal Officer and Medical Officers for conducting these training programs.

"We’re equipping our healthcare workers with the latest knowledge to tackle rainy season illnesses," Dr. Mitra stated.

Training sessions are scheduled at the Civil Surgeon Auditorium on July 3, 5, and 10.

The July 3 session will train 44 Multipurpose Health Workers (MPWs) from Musabani, Dumaria, Patamda, Dhalbhumgarh, and Ghatshila.

On July 5, 28 MPWs from Baharagora, Chakulia, Potka, and Jugsalai will receive training.

The final session on July 10 will focus on training all school teachers across the district.

"Including school teachers in this initiative will help spread awareness to students and their families," a health department official explained.

These sessions will cover prevention and early detection of diseases like malaria, dengue, and waterborne illnesses.

The initiative demonstrates the health department’s proactive approach to monsoon health challenges in East Singhbhum.
