Tata Steel’s JDC Electrical Maintenance Hosts Record-Breaking Blood Donation Camp
188 units collected in department’s largest ever drive
Union leaders and company officials praise donors’ enthusiasm.
JAMSHEDPUR – The JDC Electrical Maintenance division of Tata Steel organized a blood donation camp that set a new record for the department, collecting 188 units of blood.
Sanjeev Kumar Choudhary ‘Tunnu’, President of Tata Workers’ Union, was the chief guest at the event.
"This impressive turnout demonstrates our employees’ commitment to community welfare," Choudhary stated.

– Sanjiv Tiwari and Sanjay Singh, Vice Presidents

The camp saw participation from both the Electrical Maintenance and T&D departments within JDC.
Departmental Chief Manoj Jha and Harendra Verma played key roles in organizing the event.
Arindam Ghosh and Chandrashekhar Prasad served as coordinators, with support from Ila Sarkar and Sushila.
Committee members including Shyam Sundar Gop, Brajesh Pandey, and Rakesh Kumar Singh contributed to the camp’s success.

This blood donation drive highlights Tata Steel’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility in Jamshedpur.
The record-breaking collection will significantly aid local blood banks and healthcare facilities.
