A yellow alert has been issued for the state’s northeastern and southeastern regions, with an orange alert for rain and thunderstorms elsewhere.

Heavy rainfall is predicted for Deoghar, Dumka, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur, Sahibganj, Dhanbad, and Giridih districts on Wednesday.

East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Saraikela-Kharsawan, and Simdega are also expected to receive significant precipitation.

Thunderstorms and strong winds are forecasted to continue on June 27 and 28 across various parts of the state.

Kumardungi in West Singhbhum recorded the highest recent rainfall at 45.2 mm, while Godda registered the highest temperature at 40.3°C.

Ranchi is expected to experience pleasant weather with light to moderate rainfall and temperatures between 23°C and 33°C.
