JAMSHEDPUR – The leading local school, DAV Public School Bistupur, today marked 10th International Yoga Day with an inclusive event focusing on holistic health benefits.

DAV Public School, Bistupur, commemorated a milestone in wellness promotion with its grand Yoga Day celebration.

The event, themed "Yoga for self and society," saw enthusiastic participation from students across all grades.

Principal Mrs. Pragya Singh, who also serves as ARO Jharkhand Zone E, led the initiative alongside senior sports instructor Mr. Nikunj Kishore Chatoi.

"Yoga offers a path to balance in our increasingly stressful world," remarked Mrs. Singh during the gathering.

Participants engaged in simple yogasanas, Surya Namaskar, and meditation techniques suitable for daily practice.

The school emphasized yoga’s role in combating academic stress and enhancing mental resilience.

Trained yoga students took an active role in guiding their peers through various exercises.

"Our goal is to make yoga an integral part of students’ lives," shared Mr. Chatoi, highlighting its long-term benefits.

The celebration underscored the global recognition of yoga’s importance, as promoted by India and the United Nations.

As the event concluded, attendees expressed enthusiasm about incorporating yoga into their daily routines.
