JAMSHEDPUR – On Tuesday morning, a young man was caught molesting a student of Workers College on Mango Bridge in Jamshedpur.

He was subsequently beaten by the locals before being handed over to the Sakchi Police.

The victim, a resident of Humepipe Basti in Bhuiyandih and a student at Workers College, recounted the incident.

She was crossing the bridge on foot, heading towards her college, when a young man approached her and started molesting her by grabbing her hand.

When she resisted, he attempted to use force.

The girl cried out for help, prompting local residents to intervene.

They apprehended the offender and subjected him to a beating before turning him over to the police.

The young man is currently being questioned at the Sakchi Police Station.
