UCIL Worker John Mardi Dies During Election Duty in Jamshedpur
John Mardi, a 35-year-old UCIL employee, passed away after falling ill while on election duty in Jamshedpur.

JAMSHEDPUR – UCIL polling worker John Mardi, 35, fell ill during election duty and was later declared dead at Tata Main Hospital (TMH).
Mardi, who was stationed at UCIL’s Jaduguda Processing Plant, was assigned to election duty at Gudabadha block office.
Around 11 o’clock, he experienced a sudden deterioration in his health and was first taken to Dhalbhumgarh Primary Health Centre.
He was then transferred to TMH for better medical care, where doctors declared him dead during treatment.
John Mardi was a resident of Sitadaga in the Jadugora police station area.
He is survived by his wife, two children, parents, brother, and a large family.
The sudden death of Mardi has caused a wave of concern in Jaduguda.
The community is mourning the loss of a dedicated worker who was performing his duty during the elections.
