Workshop at Tata Football Academy Focuses on Training Coaches for Special Needs Athletes
Jamshedpur FC and Special Olympics Bharat organized an inclusive football workshop at the Tata Football Academy (TFA) to equip coaches with the skills needed to work with special needs children.
JAMSHEDPUR – An inclusive football workshop was organized by Jamshedpur FC and Special Olympics Bharat at the Tata Football Academy (TFA).
The workshop aimed to provide coaches with the tools they need to understand Special Olympics Games and effectively work with children with special needs.
Head of Sports Academies & TSAF Hemant Gupta, along with Olympian Harbhajan Singh, delivered the inaugural remarks.
The event was led by Satbir Singh Sahota, the regional director of Special Olympics Bharat.
The workshop emphasized the Unified Sports program of Special Olympics, which brings together athletes with and without intellectual impairments.
It aimed to support the growth of Indian football and enhance the development of coaches.
The initiative reflects a commitment to inclusivity and the promotion of sports for all, regardless of abilities.
