Flag March Conducted in East Singhbhum Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections
Police Demonstrate Readiness to Ensure Fear-Free Voting in Jamshedpur and Surrounding Areas
With the sixth phase of the national elections and the third phase of Jharkhand state elections approaching on May 25, a flag march was conducted across East Singhbhum on Wednesday to ensure a secure voting environment.
JAMSHEDPUR – In preparation for the sixth phase of the national elections and the third phase of the Jharkhand state elections on May 25, a flag march was conducted across East Singhbhum to ensure citizens can vote without fear.
Elections will be held in Ranchi, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur, and Giridih Lok Sabha constituencies in Jharkhand on this day.
The flag march covered various areas including Sakchi, Mango, Azadnagar, Ulidih, and Jugsalai.
Led by the DSP station in-charge, a substantial police force participated in the march.
In Azad Nagar, the flag march commenced from the police station, covered all the booths, and returned to the station.
Police station in-charge Rakesh Kumar Singh stated that the purpose of the flag march is to reassure the public and ensure that they can vote without fear in the Lok Sabha elections.
He emphasized that the police administration is fully prepared to facilitate fair and secure voting in the upcoming elections.
The march demonstrated the police’s readiness and commitment to maintaining law and order during the election period.
