Local Villagers Encouraged to Vote in Upcoming Election Through Awareness Campaign by RVS College

RVS College of Engineering and Technology in Jamshedpur organized a Voting Awareness Campaign, urging local villagers to exercise their voting rights in the upcoming election.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a significant effort to promote voter participation, RVS College of Engineering and Technology (RVS CET) hosted a Voting Awareness Campaign today.

The event aimed to educate and encourage local villagers to exercise their voting rights.

Mr. Shatrughan Singh, Treasurer of R.V.S. Educational Trust, inaugurated the event, with Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Kumar Tiwari, Principal of RVS CET, as the guest of honor.

Diploma students from RVS CET enthusiastically participated in the campaign, supported by NSS overseers.

The students engaged with villagers, using slogans and discussions to highlight the importance of voting.

The campaign’s goal was to empower the community to make their voices heard in the upcoming election on May 25, 2024, in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.

The initiative received a positive response from the villagers, who appreciated the efforts to raise awareness about their voting rights.

Mr. Singh emphasized the crucial role of every citizen in the democratic process, while Dr. Tiwari highlighted the importance of voter education and participation.

The event reflects RVS CET’s commitment to fostering civic responsibility and community engagement among its students and the local populace.

By promoting voting awareness, the college aims to contribute to a higher voter turnout and a more robust democratic process in the region.
