In the Kandra police station area, thieves stole goods worth more than Rs 20 lakh from an aircraft industry and Pataliputra Concrete Company, despite recent changes in police leadership.

Thieves stole goods worth over Rs 20 lakh from the aircraft industry and Pataliputra Concrete Company in Kandra, Seraikela Kharsawan, prompting a police investigation.

KANDRA – In a significant theft, goods worth more than Rs 20 lakh were stolen from the aircraft industry and Pataliputra Concrete Company in Kandra, Seraikela Kharsawan.

The thieves executed the theft despite the recent appointment of Anjani Kumar as the new head of Kandra police station just two days ago.

No previous incidents of theft had been reported in the area.

The incident poses a challenge for the new police leadership.

According to reports, the company was closed for a long time, manufacturing concrete products and plastic pipes.

The security personnel on duty mentioned two power cuts last night, which likely facilitated the thieves’ entry by climbing the boundary wall in the dark.

The stolen items include about nine batteries, twenty dyes, computers, and wallets.

The company supervisor, Raj Krishna, reported the theft to the owner and noted that the company had been closed for a few days due to a lack of labor.

He estimated the theft to be around Rs 15 to 20 lakh.

Police have begun an investigation and are working to track down the culprits.
