Yaduvanshi Mahila Samaj Celebrates Mother’s Day with Elderly at Baradwari Old Age Ashram

Pinky Yadav Emphasizes the Importance of Imparting Values to the Younger Generation

On Sunday, May 12, the Yaduvanshi Mahila Samaj, Jamshedpur, celebrated Mother’s Day in a heartwarming gesture by spending time with the elderly mothers residing at the Baradwari Old Age Ashram.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a moving display of love and respect, members of the Yaduvanshi Mahila Samaj, Jamshedpur, visited the Baradwari Old Age Ashram on Mother’s Day to honor and celebrate the elderly mothers living there.

The event, held on Sunday, May 12, aimed to bring joy and companionship to the senior residents who have been separated from their families.

The celebration began with the members of the Mahila Samaj presenting flowers to each elderly resident, symbolizing their appreciation and affection.

A cake-cutting ceremony followed, marking the special occasion and creating a festive atmosphere within the ashram.

The Yaduvanshi Mahila Samaj also distributed breakfast packets to the elderly, ensuring that they were well-fed and cared for on this significant day.

Pinky Yadav, a prominent member of the Mahila Samaj, addressed the gathering, expressing concern over the changing societal norms and the erosion of Indian traditions.

She highlighted the unfortunate trend of children abandoning their parents in old age homes once they become self-sufficient, forgetting the values and sacrifices of their elders.

On this Mother’s Day, Pinky Yadav called upon everyone to take a pledge to instill strong moral values in the younger generation, ensuring that no parent from capable families is forced to live in an old age home.

The event was coordinated by members of the Mahila Committee, including Usha Yadav, Pinky Yadav, Sunita Yadav, Vibha Yadav, Sweety Yadav, and Rinku Devi, who worked tirelessly to make the celebration a success.

The program also saw the presence of members from the Yadav community, including Pratap Yadav, Kamlesh Yadav, Mahendra Yadav, Sagar Rai, Ashwini Yadav, Sunil Yadav, and Deepak Yadav, who extended their support and participation.

The Yaduvanshi Mahila Samaj’s Mother’s Day celebration at the Baradwari Old Age Ashram serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of cherishing and caring for the elderly, particularly those who have been separated from their families.

By spending quality time with the elderly mothers and providing them with love and attention, the Mahila Samaj has set an example for society to follow, emphasizing the need to uphold the values of respect, compassion, and filial responsibility.
