"Unlock Potential: Vote for Progress" Initiative Draws Over 300 Parents in Jamshedpur

Gulmohur High School in Jamshedpur hosted a dynamic event aimed at promoting the importance of voting, attracting over 300 participants from the school community and beyond.

JAMSHEDPUR – At the "Unlock Potential: Vote for Progress" event, part of the #Mein bhi Election Ambassador campaign, Gulmohur High School encouraged a broad spectrum of stakeholders to recognize their role in democracy.

The school’s auditorium was the venue for a unique interactive session led by the Sub-Divisional Officer of Dhalbhum, Parul Singh, who emphasized the importance of exercising one’s voting rights.

An engaging "passing the parcel" game was organized, which involved parents and highlighted civic responsibilities in a fun manner.

The event also featured a cultural showcase by high school students, including a street play (Nukkad Natak) that effectively communicated the message of ethical voting. The students’ artistic talents were further displayed through colorful posters and themed umbrellas, which adorned the school’s portico.

Adding a modern twist to the event, a selfie corner was set up, encouraging attendees to capture photos and share them online to inspire greater voter turnout.

The school principal conveyed that the initiative was aimed at driving awareness about the upcoming elections and noted the importance of involving students, parents, and the broader community in the democratic process. She praised the event’s quick and efficient organization by the Gulmohur team.
