Kadma Students Promote Sustainability on Earth Day at Kudy Mahanty Auditorium

JUSCO School in Kadma engaged in a series of environmental activities on Earth Day, emphasizing sustainable practices and conservation.

JAMSHEDPUR – JUSCO School in Kadma engaged in a series of environmental activities on Earth Day, emphasizing sustainable practices and conservation.

The Earth Day celebration was led by the school’s Eco Club with support from Vice Principal Anindita Roy and coordinators Qamar Ali and Seema Tiwary.

Principal Jhumjhumi Nandi inspired students with a speech on reducing plastic use and promoting recycling efforts.

Students demonstrated their commitment to environmental stewardship with song and dance performances, echoing the day’s theme of sustainability.

The celebration included a Cycle Rally where students from Stds IX and XII visited local schools to distribute saplings and spread eco-awareness.

The event began with the lighting of the lamp by Principal Nandi and featured a cultural program and oath-taking ceremony dedicated to honoring Mother Earth.

A video presentation aimed at raising awareness on the necessity of maintaining a green and clean environment was showcased.

Prizes were distributed to students who excelled in various environmentally-themed competitions, acknowledging their efforts and achievements.

The activities underscored the importance of preserving the planet, with students actively participating under the Earth Day theme ‘Planet Vs Plastic.
