JAMSHEDPUR – Tatanagar railway station is set for a significant upgrade, driven by direct suggestions from travelers.
Railway officials are launching a seven-day initiative to gather passenger feedback on services and facilities.
This feedback drive is part of the South Eastern Railway Zone’s commitment to improving passenger experience.
A special team, including catering and health inspectors, will collect data from passengers in both AC and sleeper coaches.
Key focus areas will be station amenities like waiting halls, water facilities, fans, cleaning systems, and more.
Officials will also monitor the quality of ticket vending machines, water dispensers, and food services at the station.
Onboard, the cleanliness of coaches, water availability in toilets, and seat conditions will be evaluated.
Continuous station checks will be conducted in collaboration with RPF and GRP to manage illegal activities.
The initiative responds to increasing passenger complaints about train delays, tap water temperatures, and food pricing.
A recent meeting led by the Area Manager of Tatanagar has set the direction for this comprehensive passenger feedback initiative.
