NSU Captures Title with Commanding 48-17 Victory in Kolkata

NSU’s basketball team emerged as champions at the VERVE (DUNK) tournament hosted by Budge Budge Institute of Technology in Kolkata, West Bengal, marking a significant achievement for the university through a blend of skill, teamwork, and determination.

JAMSHEDPUR – The VERVE (DUNK) basketball tournament concluded with NSU defeating the host, Budge Budge Institute of Technology, with a decisive 48-17 score.

This victory underscores the team’s dominance in the sport and highlights the collective effort of players and coaches.

Keshav Kumar Thakur, a fourth-semester BCA student, led NSU as the team captain, playing a pivotal role in guiding the team to victory.

Chancellor Mr. Madan Mohan Singh praised the team’s success, highlighting it as a product of consistent hard work and teamwork.

Registrar Mr. Nagendra Kumar congratulated the team, emphasizing the win as a reflection of NSU’s athletic talent and the university’s spirit of perseverance and teamwork.
