Water Relief in Rural Bagbera in Jamshedpur
Free Drinking Water Distribution Initiated in Bagbera
Efforts by local leaders and JUSCO bring essential water supply to rural areas of Jamshedpur during summer months.
JAMSHEDPUR – In response to the water scarcity in rural Bagbera, MLA Sanjeev Sardar has initiated a free drinking water distribution campaign, benefiting residents in Posto Nagar and other strategic locations.
A 12,000-liter JUSCO water tanker, managed by Panchayat representatives, is central to this initiative, which has been operational for 15 days in 14 panchayat areas including Harharguttu and Kitadih.
Zila Parishad Vice President Pankaj Sinha has also launched a water distribution effort in Avadhpuri Colony and Muigutu, using an 8,000-liter tanker from Tarapore & Company for the community.
This coordinated approach aims to ensure continuous access to drinking water throughout the summer, with distribution points set up in areas most affected by water shortages.
Local leaders and Panchayat members, including Chief Mayawati Tudu and Samiti member Sunil Gupta, are actively involved in the water distribution, ensuring the needs of the community are met efficiently.
The initiative reflects a collaborative effort to mitigate the impact of water scarcity, with plans to engage with residents and further optimize the distribution system.
