JMM Defends Abhishek Pintu Amid Land Scam Allegations

JMM backs Hemant Soren’s press advisor, Abhishek Pintu, accuses BJP and media of misrepresentation

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha supports Abhishek Pintu against criticism, refutes allegations linking him to a land scam and criticizes BJP’s and media’s portrayal.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a significant development, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has publicly declared its support for Abhishek Pintu, the press advisor to former Chief Minister Hemant Soren, amidst allegations surrounding his testimony in a land scam case.

The party criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for what it perceives as deliberate misinterpretation of Pintu’s statements, which were seen as antagonistic towards Hemant Soren.

Furthermore, JMM accused the media of distorting Pintu’s words, thereby misleading the public regarding his involvement in the land scam.

JMM has articulated its defense for Pintu by stating that his testimony does not imply Hemant Soren’s ownership of the disputed land in the Badgai area, emphasizing the landholders’ claims to their property.

Despite the ongoing legal scrutiny, JMM contends that the premature dissemination of supposed facts by the media contributes to a biased narrative, detracting from the procedural fairness owed to the case.

The party also highlighted the commonplace nature of land dispute inquiries at the Chief Minister’s Office, arguing that such verification requests should not be misconstrued as evidence of proprietary wrongdoing.
