Saryu Roy Criticizes BJP’s Dhanbad Candidate Dhullu Mahato and Central Government
Jamshedpur East MLA Questions Leniency Towards Mahato Despite Criminal Cases and ED FIR
Bharatiya Jantantra Morcha chairperson and Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy has once again taken a stand against the BJP, openly criticizing their Dhanbad Lok Sabha candidate Dhullu Mahato and the BJP-led Central Government in light of a threatening viral audio attributed to gangster Prince Khan.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a scathing attack, Roy highlighted the alleged criminal background of Dhullu Mahato, claiming that more than 50 criminal cases are registered against him.
He questioned the leniency shown towards Mahato despite the Enforcement Directorate (ED) registering an FIR against him, drawing a comparison to the imprisonment of former chief minister Hemant Soren.
Roy called upon the judiciary and the Election Commission to demonstrate seriousness in addressing the matter.
The Jamshedpur East MLA also took aim at BJP state president Babulal Marandi, suggesting that his attitude towards candidates like Dhullu Mahato reflects his mentality to a certain extent.
Undeterred by the threats, Saryu Roy emphasized that such intimidation tactics will not make any difference to him, having faced similar challenges throughout his political career.
He appealed to the people of Dhanbad to exercise their voting rights thoughtfully.
Shifting focus to the Central Government, Roy criticized their failure to bring Prince Khan back to India despite his repeated demands in the Assembly.
He urged the Indian government to take immediate action and initiate the process of extraditing the gangster from abroad to face justice.
Furthermore, Roy called upon the Election Commission to investigate the alleged relationship between Dhullu Mahato and Prince Khan.
The recent developments serve as a reminder of Saryu Roy’s rebellion before the last assembly elections, which played a significant role in the BJP’s loss of power in the state and the defeat of the then Chief Minister Raghuvar Das.
As the political landscape in Jharkhand continues to evolve, Saryu Roy’s vocal opposition to the BJP and its candidates is likely to have an impact on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the region.
