ED Grills Former Minister Yogendra Sao in Land Case

Ex-Minister Faces ED Over Alleged Land Occupation

Former minister Yogendra Sao undergoes ED questioning over land case, asserts innocence amid daughter Amba Prasad’s support and conspiracy claims.

RANCHI – In the wake of allegations of land occupation, former minister Yogendra Sao and his daughter Amba Prasad find themselves at the center of an Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigation.

The ED conducted raids on 17 sites linked to Sao and his daughter on March 12, intensifying scrutiny on their activities.

Yogendra Sao communicated his confidence in the fairness of the ED’s probe and his expectation of being proven innocent before entering the ED office for questioning.

He remarked on the independence of central agencies and his respect for the ED, regardless of the fluctuating political landscape.

Amba Prasad conveyed her steadfast belief in their innocence regarding land grabbing charges, emphasizing their preparedness to face the ordeal and their experience with greater trials in the past.

She refuted the accusations, attributing them to a series of unsuccessful conspiracies by a specific group targeting them.

During her visit to the ED office to provide her father with lunch, Amba Prasad reiterated the notion of being victims of continuous conspiratorial efforts against them.

The inquiry into Yogendra Sao’s alleged involvement in land occupation led him to the ED’s doorstep at 11 am today, initiating a day filled with interrogation.
