The directives focus on ensuring the elections are conducted in a manner that is both fair and free from any form of prejudice or misconduct.

JAMSHEDPUR – Political parties have been instructed on the need for obtaining prior permission for election-related activities, including the use of vehicles, holding rallies, playing loudspeakers, and the publication of banners and posters.

The meeting outlined specific guidelines to prevent the dissemination of materials that could influence the electoral process unfairly.

It was emphasized that no candidate should make statements that could harm the personal, caste, religious, or family sentiments of others, underscoring the commitment to a respectful electoral discourse.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to ensure strict adherence to the model code of conduct during the upcoming elections.

By issuing these guidelines, the MCC cell aims to facilitate an electoral process that is not only free and fair but also conducted in a peaceful manner.
