BJP Spokesman Kunal Sarangi Quells Rumors
Kunal Sarangi Refutes Switching Speculations with Cryptic Post
Jharkhand State BJP spokesperson Kunal Sarangi has effectively put to rest rumors about his potential switch to the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), urging the media and the public to rely on verified information rather than speculation. His remarks come amidst widespread speculation about his political affiliations and future moves.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Jharkhand State BJP spokesperson Kunal Sarangi has effectively hinted that the speculations about the possibility of his switching party and joining the JMM may be completely wrong and that it is just a rumor that he may be switching sides.
In his post he did not mention anything about what was ‘the rumor’ that was being spread. However, it can be safety guessed that he may have been referring to the speculation about his switching party.
In the same post, he has also advised the media not to spread rumors.
In a cryptic comment on Facebook on Thursday, he posted in Hindi: “It is spectacular that people spread the rumor themselves and then spread another rumor to defend the rumor that they have spread. I also request all media colleagues to at least take the trouble of verifying the information before running a news. Do not believe in rumors and apply your intelligence calmly. Take care of your health. Do exercise once a day.”
With this cryptic comment he has posted a video of himself jogging on his treadmill.
It may be recalled here that the media has been speculating about the likelihood of his joining the JMM for quite some time. There was also a speculation in the air that he may be fielded by the JMM from the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat.
However, his latest post on social media, though not very express and not indicating what was the subject matter, most likely scotches all such speculations and it seems that he may not be switching sides after all.
Kunal Sarangi, through his latest social media postactivity, has effectively dispelled rumors suggesting he might join the JMM, especially those speculating his candidacy from the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat.
His cryptic Facebook post has virtually put to rest the speculations about his switching party at this moment.
In an unrelated but equally interesting development, Ramtahal Chaudhary, a veteran politician of BJP and 5-time MP, has officially joined the Congress party, marking a significant shift in the political landscape of Jharkhand.
This move by Chaudhary adds a new dimension to the political dynamics, especially with the ongoing speculations about party switches.
There were speculations doing rounds in the media circles that he would join Congress and today he joined the party in the presence of Pawan Khera, Ghulam Ahmad Mir and state president Rajesh Thakur.
