District Administration Works Overtime for Free and Fair Elections in East Singhbhum

SVEEP Cell Organizes Voter Awareness Program, DC Inspects Polling Booths and Check Points

The district administration and election machinery in East Singhbhum are putting in extra hours to ensure free and fair Lok Sabha elections, with the Election Commission striving to maximize voter participation through various initiatives.

JAMSHEDPUR – The district administration and election authorities in East Singhbhum are working tirelessly to guarantee free and fair Lok Sabha elections, while the Election Commission focuses on maximizing voter turnout through a range of initiatives.

Basic facilities are being restored at all the polling stations in the district. By rectifying the deficiencies, it is being ensured that the voters coming to any booth do not face any kind of inconvenience.

The DC also instructed for the conduct of clean and fair Lok Sabha elections, he along with the Senior Superintendent of Police inspected the inter-state check point adjacent to Odisha and West Bengal and gave necessary instructions to the Deputy Magistrate and the police force.

On the other hand, along with the Senior Superintendent of Police, inspected the polling booths and police pickets in Gudabandha and Baharagora blocks. Reviewed the election preparations by holding a meeting at the block headquarters and gave instructions to ensure compliance with the Model Code of Conduct in letter and spirit.

Voter awareness program was organized by Senior Officer cum Deputy Development Commissioner of SVEEP Cell at Jubilee Park, Jamshedpur.
