JAMSHEDPUR – In a detailed inspection of Tatanagar station, Chakradharpur Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Arun J Rathore has issued directives to the engineering department to accelerate the construction of the new foot overbridge, facilitating the early installation of escalator facilities.
Rathore’s thorough examination included assessments of passenger amenities and security arrangements at the station, identifying areas for enhancement.
With the Holi festival approaching, Rathore highlighted the importance of effective crowd management, advising Railway Protection Force (RPF) and commercial officers to organize passenger boarding processes to mitigate seating congestion.
Additionally, he inquired about updates on the station’s water system, recognizing the need for improvements amidst rising temperatures.
The inspection saw the convergence of railway officials from multiple departments, alongside DRM inspectors, all aimed at addressing and prioritizing the operational improvements identified.
