AIDSO Remembers Bhagat Singh with Music and Tributes in Jamshedpur
AIDSO honors the legacy of freedom fighters on their martyrdom day at Sakchi roundabout
The All India Democratic Students Organization (AIDSO) in Jamshedpur commemorated the martyrdom day of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru with a solemn gathering near the Sakchi roundabout, accompanied by revolutionary music and speeches.
JAMSHEDPUR – The musical tribute, highlighted by the stirring rendition of ‘Ae Bhagat Singh Tu Zinda Hai…’, set the tone for an event that not only remembered the sacrifice of these freedom fighters but also reflected on their unfulfilled vision for India.
District Secretary of AIDSO, Soni Sengupta, underscored the relevance of Bhagat Singh’s ideals in today’s context, pointing to prevailing issues like illiteracy, unemployment, and hunger as contradictions to the freedom fighter’s dreams for the nation.
She emphasized the student organization’s commitment to embodying Bhagat Singh’s spirit by mobilizing society towards realizing a vision of a better society, inspired by his life and struggles.
The event, led by AIDSO Jamshedpur City President Shubham Kumar Jha, saw active participation from members across various levels of the organization, including State Vice President Ajay Roy and other key figures, along with a significant turnout from the student community.
This commemoration serves as a reminder of the enduring legacy of Bhagat Singh and his comrades, inspiring current and future generations to work towards the ideals of freedom, equality, and justice that they fought for.
