RVS College Observes World Water Day with Call for Conservation
“Benefits of Water for Peace” Theme Highlights World Water Day Celebration at RVS College
The RVS College of Engineering and Technology marked World Water Day with an event driven by the theme “Benefits of Water for Peace,” focusing on water conservation and the global water crisis.
JAMSHEDPUR – On March 22, 2024, the RVS College of Engineering and Technology celebrated World Water Day, engaging the college community in discussions and activities centered around the critical importance of water conservation.
Shatrughan Singh, the college Treasurer, inaugurated the celebration, calling on the community to unite in efforts to combat water pollution and conserve water as an essential life-sustaining resource.
Dr. Vikram Sharma, Head of Training and Placement, spoke to the urgency of the water crisis, drawing attention to cities like Bengaluru that are at the forefront of this challenge, advocating for immediate action and awareness.
The event saw contributions from key college figures including Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari, Dean Professor Krishna Murari, and various department heads and faculty members, all reinforcing the message of water preservation.
Organized by Dr. Subrato Mahato, the program not only celebrated the global theme of water for peace but also recognized the efforts of individuals contributing to the cause within the college.
