3 Arrested Over Firing At Neeraj Dubey at Tatanagar Railway Parking, 3 More on the Run

Following a shooting incident at Tatanagar railway station, three individuals have been arrested while three others remain at large. Search operations are ongoing.

JAMSHEDPUR – Three individuals have been apprehended and jailed in connection with the recent shooting of parking caretaker Neeraj Dubey at Tatanagar railway station.

According to GRP DSP Himanshu Chandra Manjhi, three more suspects are still at large, prompting ongoing raid campaigns for their capture.

On May 14th, a dispute had occurred at the station involving Santosh Singh, a water bottle supplier, and Neeraj Dubey.

Later, the altercation escalated when Vishal Singh, a relative of Santosh, and Aman Mishra, an associate of Dubey, engaged in a heated phone exchange.

Mr. Manjhi said that following this, on May 19th, Vishal Singh, Raja Singh, Ashutosh Singh, Sikandar, Santosh Singh, Golu Yadav, and Sintu Singh launched a fatal attack on Dubey and his friends in the railway station’s parking area, resulting in Dubey being struck by two bullets.

Dubey, who was gravely wounded, was rushed to Tata Main Hospital, where he remains in stable condition.

An FIR has been registered against seven individuals, including three currently in custody: Ashutosh Singh of Jugsalai, Sikandar Kumar Prasad of Bagbera, and Rohit Sharma of Jugsalai. The suspects have confessed their involvement in the incident, according to the DSP of GRP, Himanshu Chandra Manjhi.

DSP GRP Himanshu Chandra Manjhi clarified the sequence of events leading to the violent encounter.

He stated that search operations are continuing to locate the remaining suspects, including the alleged shooter, Vishal Singh.
