JPSC Exam Leak Allegations Spark Outrage

Ranchi and Dhanbad Demonstrations Demand Justice for JPSC Candidates

BJP Yuva Morcha’s demonstration in Ranchi underscored the critical issue of JPSC exam paper leak, calling for immediate action and investigation to safeguard the future of Jharkhand’s youth.

RANCHI – Demonstrations, protests and ruckus have been reported from multiple locations in the state against the alleged paper leak in the JPSC examinations.

In Dhanbad students alleged question paper leak as well as anomalies in the examination. In the second session of the examination only 34 out of 536 candidates attended the examination.

Union minister Arjun Munda, AJSU MLA Dr Lambodar Mahato, BJP MP Geeta Koda and BJP state president Babulal Marandi have slammed the Champai Soren government and the JPSC for the alleged paper leak.

AJSU Party MLA Dr. Lambodar Mahato expressed deep concern over the recent JPSC examination incident, where question papers were leaked, stating, "Jharkhand’s reputation has been tarnished by this disgraceful event."

He emphasized the necessity for a CBI investigation, noting the leak’s negative impact on the state’s integrity and the future of its youth. Union Minister Arjun Munda and Leader of the Opposition Amar Bauri echoed the sentiment, highlighting the paper leak’s unfortunate nature and the urgent need for a thorough inquiry and action against those responsible.

The BJP Yuva Morcha’s protest in Ranchi, led by State President Shashank Raj, vehemently criticized the state government’s role in jeopardizing the youth’s future through alleged corrupt practices, including selling exam seats for exorbitant sums.

Amidst the outcry, there’s a growing clamor for the resignation of the JPSC Chairman and a call for a CBI investigation into the leak, underscored by widespread allegations across social media and the disruptions reported in Chatra and Jamtara districts.

The opposition has taken a firm stance, promising a rectification of these injustices under a future BJP government, as assured by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Injustice Unveiled

Union Minister Arjun Munda decried the paper leak as a significant setback for dedicated students, asserting, "Our nation cannot allow the aspirations of our bright students to be undermined by such misfortune."

A Call for Transparency

The Leader of the Opposition, Amar Bauri, revealed that the hurried scheduling of the JPSC exam hints at an underlying conspiracy, emphasizing the need for an impartial investigation to restore fairness and integrity to the examination process.

The demand for transparency and accountability is resounding, with leaders across the political spectrum urging immediate remedial measures to address the grievances of the affected students and ensure the integrity of future examinations.
