RANCHI – The Bharatiya Janata Party has chosen Pradip Varma as its Jharkhand candidate for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections.

Elections are slated for two seats on March 21, with results declared the same day.

Varma’s nomination has been met with widespread acclaim.

Gunjan Yadav, former Jamshedpur BJP leader, has extended his congratulations.

Yadav described Varma as a seasoned politician and skilled organizer.

He also expressed his best wishes for Varma’s potential Rajya Sabha membership.

The elections are to fill the vacancies of outgoing members Dheeraj Sahu and Sameer Oraon.

Their terms conclude on May 3, necessitating this electoral process.
