Soren Unveils Rs 587 Crore Projects in Giridih
Jharkhand CM Champions Development, Criticizes BJP Legacy
Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren announces development projects worth Rs 587 crore in Giridih, criticizing previous BJP administrations for neglecting state interests.
RANCHI – Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren has launched development initiatives totalling Rs 587 crore in Giridih district, marking a significant move towards regional advancement amidst the election season.
The Chief Minister accused previous BJP governments and the current central administration of failing the state, while highlighting his government’s commitment to progress.
A major highlight is the Rs 66-crore dairy plant in Yogitand, designed to process 50,000 litres of milk daily, underscoring the government’s focus on agricultural and economic development.
Soren’s address emphasized the contrast between his administration’s efforts in enhancing state infrastructure and the alleged neglect by former BJP governments, particularly in sectors crucial for tribal and underprivileged communities.
Bridging Development Gaps
The Soren-led coalition has been pivotal in redirecting the state towards comprehensive development, focusing on economic, social, and academic growth.
Accusations were leveled against the BJP for prioritizing mining interests over people’s welfare, with Soren presenting his administration as a proponent of inclusive development.
Strengthening Social Infrastructure
Efforts to rectify past governance failures include issuing 20 lakh additional ration cards and upgrading educational institutions, contrasting sharply with the alleged cancellation of 11 lakh ration cards and closure of schools under BJP rule.
These measures highlight a commitment to improving the lives of Jharkhand’s tribal and poor populations, setting a precedent for future governmental priorities.
