Routes Changed for Key Express Trains in March
Several key express trains will be diverted due to ongoing development work in the East Central Railway section, affecting routes on specific dates in March.
JAMSHEDPUR – Several trains will undergo route diversions due to development activities in the East Central Railway section.
The changes are scheduled for early March 2024, impacting key express services.
On March 7 and 8, the 18181 Tatanagar-Thawe Express will be rerouted via Barauni – Bachwara – Santoshpur – Hajipur – Dighwara – Chhapra.
The 15028 Gorakhpur-Hatia Express will take a new path on March 8 and 9, via Hajipur – Santoshpur – Bachwara – Barauni.
On a single day, March 7, the 15227 SMVT Bengaluru – Muzaffarpur Express will pass through Khagaria – Singhiaghat – Samastipur.
The 18182 Thawe-Tatanagar Express will follow a diverted route on March 9, going through Chhapra – Dighwara – Hajipur – Santoshpur – Bachwara – Barauni.
Additionally, on March 8, the 15027 Hatia-Gorakhpur Express will be rerouted via Barauni – Bachwara – Santoshpur – Hajipur.
These changes are part of the East Central Railway’s efforts to enhance infrastructure and service quality.
