Security Forces Step Up Campaign Against CPI Maoists in Jharkhand
Joint operations by Chaibasa Police and CRPF units aim to dismantle CPI (Maoists) activities in the Kolhan region, enhancing local security.
CHAIBASA – In a significant success, the security forces have unearthed a 5kg IED in a joint operation in Kolhan forest.
The recovery included an iron rod and arrow, tools for ambushing security personnel.
These were promptly delivered to the bomb disposal team for deactivation.
Operations are persistently advancing against the CPI (Maoists) Naxalite group.
The concerted effort is focused on securing the Kolhan area from subversive elements.
An IED, along with a flame retardant, was neutralized by security forces in today’s patrol.
This operation took place in the challenging terrains between Hathiburu and Lovab hera.
Initiated on 10th October 2023, the campaign targets Naxalite hotspots across several villages.
The villages of Goilkera, Kuida, and others are on high alert for anti-Naxal activities.
This strategic initiative involves units like the CRPF and Jharkhand Jaguar.
Their mission is to apprehend top leaders of the banned Naxalite faction.
