New Leadership Elected at Jharkhand Aam Mazdoor Union’s General Meeting

Raghunath Pandey re-elected as president of Jharkhand Aam Mazdoor Union, vows to address workers’ wage concerns.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Jharkhand Aam Mazdoor Union, at its general meeting held at Steel House, has once again chosen Raghunath Pandey as its president, marking his third tenure in this pivotal role.

The assembly, attended by over 500 sanitation workers, also served as a platform to discuss financial expenditures and forthcoming events.

Pandey’s unanimous election reflected the collective support of the sanitation workforce.

In his new term, Pandey has committed to championing the rights of the union’s 30,000 members, particularly emphasizing the need for a minimum wage increase to Rs 30,000 amidst escalating living costs.

Addressing the media, Pandey outlined his strategy to tackle the diverse challenges facing the union members, promising swift resolutions.
