Tatanagar-Ernakulam Train Route Altered for 4 Days

Diversion for Tatanagar-Ernakulam Express due to Line Work

The Tatanagar-Ernakulam express train route diversion is set to ease ongoing railway line work, impacting several passengers and train schedules.

JAMSHEDPUR – Railways have initiated communication with passengers affected by the diversion of the Tatanagar-Ernakulam express train for four days starting Feb 28 to March 3..

This comes as a response to facilitate repairs in the Vijayawada Railway Division.

Two trains from Tatanagar to Yesvantpur and Bengaluru will be rerouted.

The diversion will last for five days, affecting travel plans to South India.

Passengers from Kolhan and Odisha are among those facing transportation challenges.

Railway authorities are sending mobile messages to inform passengers of route changes.

People are now looking for other travel options at inquiry centers.

Passengers with bookings to Chakradharpur and Rourkela are likely to face inconveniences.

Ten trains will operate on an altered path due to the diversion.

Four trains are set for rescheduling, and eight originating from various states have been canceled.

The adjustment in the train’s route is due to work on the third line at several stations.

From February 28 to March 3, the train will travel via Juruli, avoiding the usual path.

The East Coast Railway Zone has mandated the route change for the Tatanagar-Ernakulam express.
