Adityapur Prepares to Tackle Water Crisis

Municipal Corporation’s Strategic Move to Combat Summer Water Shortages

Adityapur Municipal Corporation prepares with strategic zoning and tanker supply plans to ensure no resident faces water scarcity this summer.

JAMSHEDPUR – A reevaluation of cleaning services is currently underway in Adityapur.

This follows years of inadequate cleaning by the existing service provider.

Sources said that since 2020, extensions have been repeatedly granted to the same cleaning service.

However, their performance has not met expectations, leading to unsanitary conditions in several wards.

To address this, the Municipal Corporation has initiated a tender process.

This process aims to select varied sensors for different zones within the area.

The area has been divided into seven zones, encompassing a total of 35 wards.

In an effort to enhance cleanliness, the current sensor system will be replaced.

Additionally, the Municipal Corporation is bolstering its readiness for the impending summer water shortages.

External resources will be leveraged alongside the corporation’s assets to mitigate the crisis.

A color-coded zoning strategy has been developed to manage water distribution effectively.

Wards will be categorized into red, yellow, and green zones based on their water scarcity levels.

The surveyors are marking wards with severe water issues as Red Zones.

Municipal Corporation Administrator Alok Kumar announced the commencement of a ward survey.

This survey aims to pinpoint areas with critical water shortages.

Efforts are underway to ensure adequate water supply across Adityapur’s urban landscape during the summer months.
