AJSU Party Protests Faulty Culvert in Jugsalai, Jamshedpur: Demands Immediate Rectification

The culvert constructed by the city council on the Jugsalai Gaurishankar Road in Jamshedpur has become a hazard for local citizens, with people repeatedly falling victim to road accidents. The AJSU Party’s Jugsalai Mandal has held a protest against the issue, pointing out the problems faced by the locals during the rainy season when the road becomes impassable.

JAMSHEDPUR – The All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) Party’s Jugsalai Mandal has organized a demonstration against the city council’s poorly constructed culvert on the Jugsalai Gaurishankar Road in Jamshedpur.

The culvert has been implicated in numerous road accidents, and has also been blamed for making the road impassable during the rainy season.

The protest was led by AJSU Party’s Jugsalai Mandal President, Raju Tanveer, who vehemently opposed the faulty culvert.

Tanveer accused the Jugsalai Municipal Council of corruption and illicit commission collection, explaining that the culvert is located at a junction where four to five roads meet. This location sees a daily influx of 10,000 to 20,000 people, making the poorly designed culvert a significant hazard.

Tanveer further criticized the culvert for its improper water drainage system, claiming that it not only invites accidents but also disease. During the rainy season, the area around the culvert gets flooded, making it difficult for people to cross.

Tanveer strongly censured the Jugsalai Municipal Council for these issues and demanded an immediate resolution, warning of further action if the situation is not rectified.
