RVS College Hosts Successful Employment Fair

Job Fair Collaboration with BOPT Draws Hundreds

RVS College of Engineering and Technology’s job fair, in partnership with the Board of Practical Training, concludes, connecting graduates with top employers.

JAMSHEDPUR – The employment fair at RVS College of Engineering and Technology, a key event fostering collaboration between the institution and the Board of Practical Training (BOPT), has successfully wrapped up.

With 33 companies participating, the fair attracted a significant turnout from states like Jharkhand, Bihar, Bengal, and Orissa, under the leadership of Binda Singh, Chairman of the RVS Educational Trust.

The fair’s commencement was marked by the lighting of the lamp by dignitaries including Sudisa Foundry Pvt Ltd’s Chairman Inder Kumar Aggarwal, and key figures from RVS Educational Trust.

Chief Guest Inder Kumar Aggarwal shared his positive outlook on the fair’s role in generating employment opportunities through the partnership with BOPT, emphasizing the importance of skill development.

Secretary Bharat Singh highlighted the crucial role of vocational education in securing post-educational employment and the alignment of student skills with industry needs.

K Chandramouli reflected on the six-year tradition of employment fairs at RVS College, praising the achievements of participants who have secured employment through these events.

Principal Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Kumar Tiwari and TNP President Dr. Vikram Sharma underscored the importance of knowledge and skill in securing a bright future for the youth.

The event closed with Dr. Shantimaay Mandal expressing gratitude towards all participants, organizers, and companies for contributing to the fair’s success, emphasizing the collective effort towards making the youth employment-ready.
