Saryu Roy Champions Initiatives for Infrastructure and Utilities Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections

In a proactive move, Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy spearheads discussions to fast-track development projects, focusing on utilities and infrastructure improvements in the constituency.

JAMSHEDPUR – A critical meeting led by Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy at the Deputy Commissioner’s office has set the stage for the accelerated implementation of development plans in the Jamshedpur East Assembly constituency, aiming to enhance living standards and infrastructure ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Infrastructure and Utilities Boost

The dialogue involved key stakeholders, including Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal and representatives from Tata Steel and JNAC, resulting in a unified approach to expedite approved development schemes and tackle pending projects.

A significant focus was placed on essential utilities, with a decision to fast-track the supply of electricity to every household in Cable Town, overcoming obstacles presented by the insolvency of the local cable company.

The Moharda drinking water supply scheme’s first phase, aimed at laying a 6-kilometer pipeline and constructing a water tank with a budget of Rs 14 crore, was highlighted as a priority for immediate commencement, under the oversight of Tata Steel UISL.

Urban Development and Sanitation

MLA Saryu Roy’s proposal for drain-based development schemes underscores a commitment to improving sanitation and preventing waterlogging, with a task force from Tata Steel and JNAC to focus on comprehensive drainage solutions.

Plans for area-specific development, including the construction of parks, sports facilities, and a stadium in Cable Town, were discussed, promising enhanced recreational and athletic opportunities for residents.

Community and Living Standards

The assembly’s decisions to expedite MLA fund schemes for indoor and outdoor sports facilities and the establishment of a Park and Garden Cell by JNAC reflect a holistic approach to urban development, aiming to elevate the quality of life in the constituency.

The initiatives represent a concerted effort to address the constituency’s infrastructure needs, utility services, and community amenities, ensuring residents of Jamshedpur East enjoy improved standards of living and well-being.
