MP Manish Jaiswal Presents Bouquet, Says Visit Will Infuse New Energy in Workers
Key Points:
- Nitin Naveen makes first Jharkhand visit as BJP national president
- High-level meeting at state BJP office chaired by Aditya Sahu
- Babulal Marandi and Gopal Narayan Singh share dais with Naveen
RANCHI – Bharatiya Janata Party’s national president Nitin Naveen received a massive and unprecedented reception in Ranchi on Saturday during his first visit to Jharkhand after assuming the party’s top post.
Thousands of party workers, senior functionaries, and elected representatives turned out in large numbers at the airport. They greeted him with drums, trumpets, and rousing slogans all the way from the airport to the state party office.
At the Ranchi office, Naveen addressed a high-level meeting of the Jharkhand BJP. The meeting was presided over by state party president Aditya Sahu. All sitting Members of Parliament and members of the state legislature from the party attended the session.
The meeting deliberated on upcoming political strategies. Moreover, it also took up issues related to organisational expansion and public concerns. Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi was prominently present on the dais. Former Bihar BJP state president Gopal Narayan Singh also shared the platform with Naveen.
Hazaribagh Lok Sabha MP Manish Jaiswal presented a bouquet to the BJP national president on behalf of the people and workers of the entire Hazaribagh parliamentary constituency. Jaiswal said the visit of the national president would prove to be a landmark moment for Jharkhand BJP.
“This tour will act as a catalyst for our workers across Jharkhand,” a senior party functionary present at the meeting said. “The guidance offered by the national president will inject fresh vigour into party cadres at every level.”
Meanwhile, the NDA ally network in Jharkhand has been under a period of organisational consolidation. Naveen’s visit is his first to the state since he took over the Jharkhand BJP leadership’s top national post. In contrast, the opposition JMM-led government has been facing sustained political pressure from the party in the state legislature.
The BJP’s Jharkhand unit has been holding regular internal meetings. However, a visit by the national party chief of this nature carries particular significance for cadre morale. In addition, the meeting saw deliberations on organisational matters ahead of upcoming electoral cycles.
On the other hand, senior party leader Saryu Roy was among the figures who have remained active in the state’s political discourse around this period.
