Dog Scare Plagues Sakchi Residents in Jamshedpur

Sakchi Residents Battle Dog Menace Amidst Leopard Search in Gamharia area

In Jamshedpur, while the search intensifies for a leopard in Gamharia area in the adjoining Seraikela-Kharsawan district, residents face a growing threat from a rabid dog, leading to widespread panic and urgent actions from local authorities and Tata Steel UISL.

JAMSHEDPUR – In the Sakchi area of Jamshedpur, a mad dog has unleashed terror, biting half a dozen people who are now receiving treatment in TMH and MGM hospitals.

This alarming situation extends from the Sakchi Gaushala area to Tamaria Road, causing widespread concern among the populace.

The Tata Workers Union has raised alarms about the ongoing threat posed by stray dogs in residential areas designated for Tata Steel employees.

Responding to the outcry, Tata Steel UISL (formerly known as JUSCO) has mobilized its team to address the issue, marking a significant escalation in efforts to curb the menace.

The initiative to capture the troublesome canine comes amid a broader challenge facing the district, including a search for a menacing leopard by the forest department in Seraikela-Kharsawan.

This dual threat underscores the pressing need for effective wildlife and domestic animal management strategies to ensure the safety of Jamshedpur’s residents.

The community remains on edge as authorities step up their efforts to bring the situation under control.

Meanwhile, the common man in Sakchi residential areas is in a worried state due to alarm caused by the presence of a rabid dog in their locality.
