Students Showcase Talent in Poetry Competition at Govind Vidyalaya

Govind Vidyalaya Tamulia organized a self-composed poetry recitation competition, showcasing student talent across junior and senior wings.

JAMSHEDPUR – Govind Vidyalaya Tamulia was the venue for a vibrant display of creativity as students from both junior and senior wings came together for a self-composed poetry recitation competition on Saturday, February 17.

The event saw enthusiastic participation, dividing the contestants into two groups for a fair competition.

Led by teachers Sumbul Bano, Manju Kumari, Anju Kumari, Shaheen Ansari, and Neeta Rani, the competition was a testament to the school’s commitment to nurturing literary talent.

Evaluating the performances, a jury comprising Naushad Razia, Sanjeev Kumar, and Shabana Parveen from the school’s faculty ensured a fair assessment of each participant’s work.

In the senior section, the spotlight shone on Aafia Naz and Aarohi Patel from VIII A and VIB respectively, clinching the top spot in Group-A, followed by Zareen Fatima and Iqra Ifran securing the second place, and Munajja Mariam along with Bhoomi Kumari taking third.

Tahera Tabassum and Shahiya Naz from XIA led the winners in the senior section’s Group-B, with Anjali Pandey and Ashok Mahato following as runners-up.

The junior section’s Group-A celebrated Anaya Afrin, Rimsha Naa, and Swati Kumari as its winners, demonstrating the depth of talent among the younger participants.

Group-B of the junior section saw Md. Kabir Saad, Rimsha Pank, Md. Samad, Injila Fatima, and Yash Kumar being awarded for their poetic prowess, marking a successful event filled with literary expression.
