Banna Gupta, Rameshwar Oraon, Deepak Birua, Badal Patralekh, Mithilesh Thakur, Basant Soren, Hafizul Hasan, Baby Devi too Take Oath in Swearing-In Ceremony at Birsa Pavilion

The Jharkhand cabinet, led by Champai Soren, has seen an expansion with a ceremonial oath taking at Birsa Pavilion, Raj Bhavan, reinforcing the governance structure.

RANCHI – The Jharkhand government cabinet expansion under Champai Soren’s leadership was marked by a formal swearing-in ceremony held at the Birsa Pavilion of Jharkhand Raj Bhavan.

Governor CP Radha Krishnan administered the oath to the MLAs.

The Congress party made no changes to its cabinet representation.

In the JMM quota, Basant Soren was appointed, replacing Hemant Soren, while Deepak Birua took over Joba Manjhi’s position.

The ceremony saw the induction of Rameshwar Oraon, Deepak Birua, Banna Gupta, Badal Patralekh, Mithilesh Thakur, Basant Soren, Hafizul Hasan, and Baby Devi as ministers.

Leaders from the Congress and other parties attended the event, highlighting a broad political engagement.

Prior to the ceremony, Congress experienced internal disputes regarding the inclusion of veteran leaders in the cabinet expansion.

State president Rajesh Thakur and state in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir resolved the tensions, leading to a unified appearance at Raj Bhavan.
