Delegation Meets Jharkhand CM to Discuss Regional Growth and Challenges

The Singhbhum Chamber’s meeting with CM Champai Soren highlights efforts to accelerate development in the Kolhan region, addressing infrastructure and economic concerns.

JAMSHEDPUR – A delegation from the Singhbhum Chamber, led by its President Vijay Anand Moonka, recently engaged with Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren, presenting a series of developmental issues affecting the Kolhan region.

The meeting was a platform for the delegation to congratulate CM Soren on his appointment and delve into critical discussions aimed at fostering the region’s growth.

Key topics included the challenges facing the construction of Dhalbhumgarh Airport, with the delegation urging the Chief Minister to facilitate the resolution of obstacles impeding its progress.

The chamber also sought parity in electricity rates for Kolhan’s industries, aiming for consistency with other districts, to boost the local economy.

Discussions extended to the registry of lands and flats within the Tata command area, land surveys in Jugsalai and Mango, and the resolution of pending GST payments to contractors, shedding light on the administrative and logistical hurdles confronting the region.

CM Soren, acknowledging the delegation’s concerns, assured prompt action towards the issues raised, reflecting the government’s commitment to regional development.

Further engagements with State Chief Secretary L. Khilangte and other key officials underscored the broad spectrum of developmental aspirations discussed, from infrastructure to food and consumer affairs.

The delegation’s optimism post-meeting reflects a collaborative approach to overcoming challenges in Kolhan, signaling a hopeful trajectory for the region’s advancement under the current administration.
