MEDININAGAR – In Medininagar, divyang (disabled) individuals conducted a voter awareness rally to promote participation in the upcoming Jharkhand Legislative Assembly election on November 13.

The rally, organized by district icons Avinash Tiwari and Pawan Kumar Gupta, started from Chhah Muhana and concluded at the Collectorate.
Nodal Officer Sewaram Sahu and District Social Welfare Officer Neeta Chauhan flagged off the event, which saw over 60 divyangs joining by foot, tricycles, and other mobility aids. Participants held banners and posters with messages about the importance of voting, encouraging everyone to cast their ballot.
Throughout the rally, slogans echoed the urgency of democratic participation. “Every vote strengthens democracy,” stated Neeta Chauhan, urging all eligible voters to make their voices heard on election day.
Avinash Kumar Tiwari highlighted that around 60% of divyangs voted in the previous Lok Sabha election and expressed hopes for an 85% turnout in the upcoming polls.
The event concluded with interactive games, including a clay-pot breaking contest and target shooting, to boost morale. Winners received awards, and participants took a pledge to vote and encourage others to do the same on November 13.
