Murder Investigation Underway After Body Found in Jamshedpur

An unidentified body with a slit throat was found near the Kitadih potato warehouse, prompting a murder investigation by Parsudih police.

JAMSHEDPUR – A shocking incident unfolded in Jamshedpur as the body of an unidentified individual, bearing signs of a violent death, was found in the bushes near the Kitadih potato warehouse under the jurisdiction of the Parsudih police station.

The grim discovery was made on Thursday morning, with the deceased found wrapped in a blanket, dressed only in sandals, indicating foul play.

Parsudih Police Station in-charge Faiz Ahmad confirmed that the police were alerted by local residents and are treating the case as a murder investigation.

The body’s condition suggested it had been left in the secluded spot for three to four days, with the intent of hiding the crime near the roadside warehouse, currently obscured by ongoing road repairs.

Efforts are now focused on identifying the deceased, with police combing through reports of missing persons in the vicinity as part of their investigative procedures.

The case has cast a shadow over the community, with authorities urging anyone with information to come forward to aid in the resolution of this distressing case.
