Saurabh Tiwary to attend as chief guest, Jai Mahakal Sewa Sangh to organize tournament
Jamshedpur: The Liverpool Cricket Club cricket tournament will be held at Jamshedpur’s Co-operative Ground from February 23 to 27 by the Jai Mahakal Seva Sangh.
On Sunday, a press conference was held to provide additional information about the event.
The Chief Patron of the Club, Neeraj Singh, announced that 32 teams, including teams from outside the state and city, will compete.
Tennis balls will be used in the tournament, and each match will last 8 overs.
The registration fee for the tournament is Rs 4001.
He said that the winning team will receive Rs 1,25,000 in cash and a cup, while the runners-up will receive Rs 75,000 and a cup.
In addition, the team that advances to the semi-finals will receive Rs 10,000, and there will be prizes for Man of the Series and Player of the Series.
Cricket, according to Neeraj Singh, is a sport that brings people of all castes and religions together, and the tournament hopes to provide a platform for village teams as well.
The match’s chief guest will be cricketer Saurabh Tiwary. President Manish Jain, Patron Sushil Pandey, Marketing Manager Devendra Kumar, Secretary Ajay Tirkey, and Vineet Lal were present at the press conference.
