RANCHI – In a significant move to boost the rural economy, the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Champai Soren, has highlighted the government’s focus on rural development.

This approach includes increasing free electricity provision from 100 to 125 units, benefiting 30 lakh consumers.

Further enhancing public welfare, the government aims to improve various systems within the state, such as economic, social, educational, and health, for comprehensive development.

Champai Soren emphasized the continuation of developmental efforts initiated by former Chief Minister Hemant Soren, aiming to implement schemes effectively even in challenging conditions.

The commitment to transparency and fairness in the housing scheme was reiterated, with a strict warning against any exploitation of the system.

During a significant event, Champai Soren disbursed the first installment of Rs 76 crore 15 lakh 50 thousand through direct bank transfer to beneficiaries across Dumka, Jamtara, and Deoghar districts.

The Chief Minister’s announcement at Dumka highlights the government’s dedication to eradicating homelessness among 20 lakh needy individuals through the Abua Awas Yojana.

Champai Soren’s promise ensures that by 2027, every resident of Jharkhand will live in a dignified, permanent three-room house, moving away from inadequate living conditions.
