JAMSHEDPUR – The NTTF RD Tata Technical Institute in Golmuri recently wrapped up its annual sports competition, marking a period of vibrant athletic engagement and camaraderie on campus. The Pink House clinched the overall championship, with Navy Blue House securing the runner-up position, in a fest inaugurated by Principal Preeta John.

Sarim and Tanisha distinguished themselves as the best athletes in their respective categories, demonstrating outstanding talent and sportsmanship throughout the event.

The opening ceremony featured Principal Preeta John, Chief Guest Shyam Kumar Sharma, and Vice Principal Ramesh Rai, with Sharma stressing the integral role of sports in fostering determination and vitality.

Principal John, recognizing the chief guest’s contribution, highlighted sports as a vital avenue for leadership development and team-building.

Competitive events saw Light Blue House and Red House excelling in volleyball, while individual races spotlighted the speed and agility of participants like Tanisha Pradhan and Sandeep Kumar Rajak.

Athletes Sarim, Daksh, Gautam, and others showcased their prowess in 200 and 400-meter dashes, contributing to an atmosphere of fierce but friendly competition.

The sports fest underscored the importance of teamwork and collective goal achievement, with events ranging from relay races to Kho Kho, underlining the spirit of unity and cooperation among students and faculty alike.

The successful organization of the event was attributed to the collaborative efforts of Vice Principal Ramesh Rai, faculty members, and students, setting a benchmark for future sports activities at the institute.
