Matric, Inter Exams Start in Jharkhand with Strict Protocols
Jharkhand Academic Council’s examinations for Matriculation and Intermediate commence with enhanced security and adherence to scheduled times.
RANCHI – The Jharkhand Academic Council has officially commenced its Inter and Matriculation examinations, with the first day seeing strict adherence to entry protocols by invigilators at all designated centers.
In the capital Ranchi alone, 51 centers are operational, with Shivnarayan Marwari Girls +2 School’s Center Superintendent, Priya Ranjan, noting the exams’ timing from 9:45 AM to 12:30 PM on the inaugural day, adjusting to 1:00 PM in subsequent sessions. The afternoon shift commences at 2 PM, accommodating vocational and regional language assessments.
Ranjan further elaborated that the examination period spans from February 6 to February 26, with Matriculation tests scheduled for the morning and Intermediate examinations in the afternoon.
To ensure a disturbance-free environment, the district administration has enforced Section 144 within a 200-meter radius of each center, limiting gatherings and prohibiting loudspeakers to facilitate a focused examination setting.
Additionally, a stringent ban on weapons near examination venues has been declared, albeit with exceptions for security personnel, alongside a prohibition on meetings or public gatherings to uphold a serene atmosphere.
With these measures, Ranchi’s 51 examination centers are fortified against malpractices, illustrating the administration’s commitment to conducting fair and orderly academic assessments.
